• Elizabeth (Betty) Cross, born 20th February 1799. Betty married James Cook (born about 1796 in West Buckland) on 21st February 1821. James was buried 4th June 1826 aged 30 years. James and Betty had the following children:
  • Sarah Cook born 16th April 1821, christened 6th May 1821
  • James Cook born 15th December 1822, christened 12th January 1823, buried 7th March 1824
  • William Cook born 13th March 1825, christened 3rd April 1825

• George Cross, born 31st May 1805. George was a Husbandman. George married Ann Channing (born about 1810 in West Buckland (IGI)) on 3rd February 1831. George and Ann had the following children:
  • Mary Ann Cross born 9th November 1831, christened 4th December 1831
  • Elizabeth Cross born 23rd August 1833, christened 15th September 1833
  • George Cross born 17th February 1835, christened 30th March 1835
  • Joseph Cross born 30th December 1837, christened 28th January 1838. The 1881 census shows Joseph living in West Buckland with his wife Susanand their children:

Betty was buried in West Buckland on 18th October 1835, aged 69

Joseph was buried on 26th November 1837, aged 66
